The "2nd Annual OSEA Food Drive" is quickly approaching! We are extremely excited to partner with the Sherwood Helping Hands and collect more food for their Backpack for Kids Program!
The Backpack for Kids program provides students in need with a backpack full of food on Fridays to ensure they have enough to eat throughout the weekend. Without this program some of our local students might go hungry until Monday when they return to school. In an effort to ensure the Helping Hands shelves stay stocked for this program the OSEA adopted the food drive last year and it was very successful. This year we hope to collect even more with the generosity of our members and friends!
The food pantry is in need of the following food items!
Top Ramen
Canned Soup
Canned Chili
Canned Meals such as Chef Boyardee, Ravioli, Spaghettios
Cereal
Instant Oatmeal
Pop Tarts
Tun Helper or boxed equivalent (Pasta Roni)
Cans of Tuna
Pancake Mix
Syrup
Macaroni and Cheese
Cup of Noodles
Applesauce (Single servings)
Pudding (Single servings)
Granola Bara
Raisins
Juice Boxes
Boxes of Crackers
